It would appear that the new Killer Instinct is going to be digital only and possibly episodic. I came across this information on accident when looking in places to pre-order the console. I checked on Gamestop’s website where there is a Kinect Sports: Rivals bundle available and this is what is in the product description…

Make the most of Xbox One by adding a Day One Xbox Live Gold membership and play the digital game, Killer Instinct: Round One, with the exclusive Shadow Jago character.

So there you go. That description not only gives a name to the game, Killer Instinct: Round One, but also claims it is completely digital as well as revealing that there is a pre-order exclusive shadow version of the character Jago.

    1. I feel your pain,We wished and hoped so hard for a new Banjo game. It’s so hard being a rare fan right now, lets just hope that they will be working on a hard core game now and not Kinect Sports 4. The only 3D platformers/open world games were Knack and inFamous for PS4. But for Xbone that Project Spark game looks great! We can’t give up hope, we have to keep sending a message to Microsoft.

      1. There are tons of 3D platformers on Wii and Wii U… I don’t know what you’re talking about. Super Mario Galaxy games, the new sonic game, and many others.
