  1. Wow. Talk about a tough call. Both songs are immensely catchy, and hold a great deal of nostalgia for me. Seriously, I’m currently listening to them both, one after the other, and I can’t make up my mind!

    On the whole, I would “probably” have to go with Freezeeezy Peak. In short, I feel like there’s just a bit more going on in that song, and that it does a slightly better job at capturing both the holiday spirit and the grand size of the world itself.

  2. It wasn’t the franchise that died, it was the style of play itself. Only Mario can still be relevant.

    Donkey Kong himself, instead of using Mario 64 style gameplay in 3D games, ended up appealing to the 2D style of the Super Nintendo to be more fun, or not to be beaten. The Star Fox of WiiU that had parts with this gameplay too, was ignored. Even Mario Sunshine was ignored.

    It is bad to admit, but there is no more space for this type of game. Poor Banjo and Conker.
